About The Position

Triple Whale is seeking a Social Media Specialist to help scale its social media program. This role is central to the content engine, responsible for distributing content across various channels, managing executive accounts, engaging the community, and building a consistent and credible social presence. The specialist will collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Head of Content to bring Triple Whale's voice to life and shape its presence on platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of social media experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or ecommerce environment
  • Strong writing instincts, ability to match a brand voice, write concise captions, and ghostwrite human-sounding LinkedIn posts
  • Platform fluency across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X, understanding what works on each platform and why
  • Content distribution instincts, with the ability to identify hooks in long-form content and adapt them for social media
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action
  • Attention to detail and an organized approach to managing multiple workstreams
  • AI fluency, using AI tools to increase speed without compromising quality or original thinking
  • Collaborative mindset, eager to work closely with content, PMM, design, and leadership teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social scheduling/monitoring tools
  • Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
  • Triple Whale or ecommerce brand experience

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day social publishing and scheduling across brand and exec accounts
  • Manage community engagement, including monitoring mentions, responding to comments, and participating in relevant conversations
  • Adapt and repurpose content from various sources (blog posts, reports, events, video) into platform-native social assets
  • Support executive social accounts by ghostwriting posts, chopping content, and maintaining a consistent cadence
  • Build and nurture relationships with creators and industry voices in the ecommerce and DTC space
  • Assist with real-time social coverage of events, product launches, and campaigns
  • Track performance metrics and contribute to regular reporting and KPI cadences
  • Experiment with new formats and contribute innovative ideas
  • Support the rollout and ongoing distribution of product education content
