About The Position
We’re seeking a highly detailed Social Media Specialist to support our day-to-day social media efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and passionate about creating polished, accurate, and engaging content. You’ll play a key role in maintaining brand consistency, ensuring quality control, and helping execute social media campaigns across platforms.
Requirements
- Background in marketing and communications
- Solid understanding of major social media platforms
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and organizational skills
- Clear written communication and ability to follow brand voice guidelines
- Willingness to learn new tools and adapt quickly
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media content across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Help organize and manage digital assets (images, videos, captions)
- Support the management of content calendars to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery of content across all channels.
- Review and proofread posts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines
- Monitor platforms and engage with followers to maintain a consistent and active social media presence.
- Stay informed about current social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Track basic performance metrics and compile reports with attention to detail
