About The Position

As the Social Media Marketing Manager at Packsmith you will spearhead our social media strategy across platform, with a focus Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. In this key role (reporting to the CEO) you will craft, execute, and drive our social media presence; build and manage the social media-focused Packsmith community with a strong focus on engagement; and ensure the growth and success of our brand through close collaboration with sales and marketing. We are seeking an energetic and innovative individual with a creative passion for developing amazing content and a strong executional understanding of the latest social trends and tools. If you have a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies and category-defining content, a scrappy approach to content development, and a deep understanding of social content optimization, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Strong background (4+ years) in social media marketing and social media management, with experience in brand marketing and community engagement.
  • Deep proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, TikTok social media marketing, with a solid understanding of other major platforms (LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc).
  • Skilled in still and video content production and social media strategy
  • Ability to manage creative and media agency partners to budget and project success
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively and communicative clearly with executives
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to drive projects to completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong experience in e-commerce and brand-focused marketing a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms to enhance brand visibility and support business goals, including influencer / content creator strategy and creative strategy.
  • Craft, produce, and deploy category-defining content of all forms across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Develop a market-leading community engagement strategy with key metrics that can achieve outsized engagement results and then manage the strategy to success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies and key business objectives.
  • Manage external agencies, content creators, external design partners, and community members for creative and media needs, ensuring campaigns are tailored to local market insights and focused on driving engagement
  • Ensure consistency with global brand strategy in all social media activities.
  • Explore and execute partnerships with third parties for joint marketing initiatives.
  • Create engaging and impactful social media content, with a focus on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, while also understanding the nuances of other platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Measure campaign impact and optimize future marketing and social management investments.
