  • Proficiency in shooting, editing video, cutting motion graphics, and designing statics to a standard suitable for paid spend.
  • 3 or more years of experience owning organic social for a consumer brand or retailer as the primary accountable person.
  • Experience running a content calendar, production schedule, and cross-functional stakeholders independently.
  • Comfort producing content on location, including pool decks and at meets.
  • Fluency in production tools such as Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, Figma, or Canva.
  • Strong community management judgment, including knowing what issues to escalate.
  • Comfort with performance data, understanding metrics like hook rate and their significance.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience creating paid social content that generated measurable business results, with the ability to discuss relevant examples and individual contributions.
  • Experience managing an ambassador, creator, or influencer program with direct accountability for deliverables, performance, and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities independently, communicate effectively with executive stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve issues with limited supervision.
  • Working fluency with AI tools for content production.

Responsibilities

  • Own SwimOutlet's and Sporti's organic social presence end-to-end across prioritized channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
  • Produce social and paid social creative, including short-form video, UGC, motion graphics, and statics.

  • Direct and produce UGC through the ambassador roster and creator network.
  • Publish and schedule content across social channels.
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats and placements.
  • Utilize internal design and digital media support, as well as a freelance budget, to extend content production capacity.
  • Leverage AI tools for content production tasks such as ideation, scripting, editing, and generation.
  • Conduct a full audit of branded social channels within the first 60 days and recommend prioritization, maintenance, or sunsetting of channels.
  • Operate social channels to a high standard, including planning, production, publishing, community management, and performance tracking.
  • Manage Tolstoy shoppable video for on-site and retention relevance.
  • Lead creative ideation and testing for paid social, including hooks, angles, copy, and formats.
  • Review paid creative performance weekly with the CMO and agree on production priorities.
  • Own creative-side performance analysis, including CTR, CPM, thumbstop rate, hook rate, hold rate, engagement rate, and outbound CTR.
  • Translate performance analysis into clear recommendations for content angles and formats.
  • Run the ambassador program as a measurable channel, including UGC and influencer sourcing.
  • Recruit, brief, track output, and evaluate ROI per ambassador, refining the roster for high-value partners.
  • Manage community engagement across DMs, comments, and tagged content.
  • Escalate sensitive PR, CX, or legal issues with good judgment.
  • Maintain a clear feed of prioritization inputs from buying and planning teams to ensure social reflects business priorities.
  • Surface priority products, launches, and promotional moments through existing marketing meetings.
