About The Position

Fletcher Development is seeking a part-time, freelance Social Media Manager to manage content across multiple brands within their portfolio, including the CEO's personal social media accounts. This role requires a creative individual with a strong eye for editing and the ability to capture and produce high-quality photo and video content. The ideal candidate will be based within reasonable driving distance of Fairfield County, CT, as on-site presence is required 1-2 times per month for content capture and to stay connected with operations. The position involves developing content calendars, pitching ideas, scheduling posts, light engagement, and providing monthly performance recaps. Experience in ghost-managing executive accounts and adapting to different brand voices is essential. A self-sufficient production setup is preferred.

Requirements

  • Must be based within reasonable driving distance of Fairfield County, CT.
  • Ability to be on-site 1-2 times per month in Fairfield County, CT.
  • Experience ghost-managing executive or founder personal accounts with discretion.
  • Ability to study and replicate the CEO's voice.
  • Possession of a personal production setup (camera, editing tools).
  • Reliable communication and follow-through.
  • Ability to work long-term and commit a significant number of hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation across multiple brands with distinct voices, audiences, and aesthetics, including CEO's personal social media.
  • Capturing and editing photo and video from job sites, interviews, events, and other relevant moments.
  • Producing content beyond live capture, such as local context and industry insights.
  • Developing and managing brand voices for each account.
  • Building content calendars with a variety of post types (reels, stills, carousels, clips, behind-the-scenes).
  • Pitching content ideas and contributing a unique perspective.
  • Scheduling and publishing 3-4 posts per week per primary account.
  • Performing light engagement, including replies, DMs, and comment moderation.
  • Providing monthly performance recaps across the portfolio.
