About The Position

Savage X Fenty is currently hiring for a Social Media Manager. This role is for a hands-on social operator who lives in culture, moves quickly, and knows how to turn ideas into content that lands, from concept through final edit. You’ll be a key partner to the Director of Social Media, owning day-to-day execution while contributing ideas, taste, and POV. The role will bring Savage’s social strategy to life through high-quality, platform-native execution, help elevate the brand’s cultural relevance and presence across social platforms, and drive strong engagement and audience growth through consistent, compelling content. You will play a meaningful role in shaping ideas — not just executing them and help build a social function that is fast, collaborative, and creatively ambitious.

Requirements

  • ~5+ years of experience in social media or content marketing
  • Expert-level proficiency in CapCut (or similar mobile-first editing tools) with a portfolio of short-form content
  • Strong proficiency in Canva (comfortable creating and editing social-ready content independently)
  • Strong eye for pacing, hooks, and storytelling within the first 1–3 seconds
  • Ability to turn raw footage, trends, or lo-fi concepts into polished, high-performing content quickly without sacrificing quality or taste
  • Strong experience executing social content across Instagram and TikTok
  • Solid understanding of YouTube as a storytelling platform
  • Excellent taste and creative judgment, with the ability to elevate work through execution
  • Proven ability to move fast, juggle priorities, and get content out the door
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Deep cultural fluency and an instinct for what resonates now
  • Foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day execution across Savage X Fenty’s social channels, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok, and support on YouTube
  • Write, edit, and refine captions; with strong instincts for tone, voice, and cultural relevance
  • Hands-on video editing: cut, assemble, and optimize short-form content using tools like CapCut (expert-level proficiency expected)
  • Apply platform-native editing techniques (timing, pacing, captions, transitions, sound) to maximize performance and retention
  • Create quick-turn social assets using tools like Canva (text overlays, engaging graphics)
  • Support community engagement, including comments and real-time interaction
  • Stay deeply plugged into culture, trends, and platform behavior — especially on TikTok
  • Monitor performance and iterate quickly based on what’s working
  • Bring ideas forward proactively, informed by data, culture, and instinct
  • Partner closely with the Director of Social Media as a right hand in execution
  • Help establish and maintain strong processes for content development and publishing
  • Support the Social Media Coordinator as needed
