Social Media Manager, New York

Soho House•Brooklyn, NY
•Onsite

About The Position

We’re looking for a creative, culturally connected Social Media & Community Manager based in New York to join our Global Social team. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives and breathes social media, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys creating content as much as planning strategy. You’ll play an important role in supporting Soho House’s global social channels, while leading a private Instagram account for members in New York. You'll own the end-to-end management of the New York channel - from content creation and copywriting to community management, reporting and content planning - working closely with teams across New York and internationally. This channel is a hyper-local social channel designed to bring our Houses, community and culture to life through real-time, insider content. You'll be responsible for shaping its voice, growing engagement and creating content that members genuinely want to follow. Reporting to the Global Head of Social, you’ll work closely with Membership, Operations, Events and Marketing teams, while collaborating with the wider Global Social team to develop ideas, manage content calendars and deliver best-in-class social content across Soho House.

  • Capture and create social-first content across Houses, events, screenings, launches and cultural moments
  • Contribute creative ideas for global campaigns, content series and always-on social storytelling
  • Produce engaging Reels, Stories and feed content
  • Write copy that feels conversational, culturally relevant and distinctly local across social channels
  • Build strong relationships with Membership, Events and Operations teams to source content, identify social opportunities and stay ahead of programming
