About The Position

The Social Media Manager will develop, execute, and manage social media strategy for Hit, driving brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across all relevant platforms. This role requires a blend of creative content development, data-driven strategy, and strong understanding of B2B marketing within the promotional products/branded merchandise industry. The ideal candidate will translate product offerings, company culture, client success stories, and industry trends into compelling content that resonates with distributors, corporate buyers, and marketing decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in a B2B or industry-specific setting
  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling tools (preferably Hubspot)
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)

  • Knowledge of or interest in the promotional products/branded merchandise industry a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative eye for visual storytelling and brand consistency

  • Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company sales and marketing goals
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (graphics, video, copy) across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Manage a content calendar that highlights new products, industry trends, client case studies, and company culture
  • Monitor social channels daily, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to showcase new brands, products, and seasonal promotions
  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, follower growth) using analytics tools
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, or videographers to produce high-quality visual content
  • Stay current on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices within B2B and promotional products industries
  • Partner with the marketing team on cross-channel campaigns (email, website, trade shows) to ensure consistent messaging
  • Manage relationships with industry influencers, partners, or trade associations for co-marketing opportunities
  • Assist in planning and promoting trade show appearanceand other industry events via social channels
