About The Position

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building social media followings from scratch and creating engaging content that resonates with audiences, rather than traditional social media management experience. HiringCafe aims to revolutionize job discovery by providing a fast, comprehensive, and honest platform, free from the "dark patterns" and profit-driven tactics of established job boards. The company has already achieved significant growth in monthly active users and community engagement without a marketing budget, indicating a strong product-market fit. This role is crucial for scaling that success.

Requirements

1 to 4 years of experience creating content or managing social media for a startup, creator, brand, or personal audience.
Demonstrated ability to grow social media accounts or achieve broad engagement with posts.
Proficiency in creating content independently, from ideation to filming and editing.
Deep understanding of native content strategies for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit.
Ability to work autonomously, turning broad goals into actionable experiments and results.
A fast-paced approach, prioritizing rapid iteration and learning over lengthy deliberation.
Data-driven decision-making, focusing on measurable outcomes like views, shares, and signups.
Ambition to build an audience from the ground up and take ownership of growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

Concept, script, shoot, edit, and post original content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, optimized for each platform's algorithms.
Manage the creator program, including identifying, briefing, and managing external influencers and creators for sponsored content.
Develop and execute viral video concepts, UGC campaigns, contests, and other innovative growth initiatives.
Engage with the r/hiringcafe community on Reddit, transforming user stories, feedback, and successes into content.
Analyze content performance using metrics like views, shares, and signups, and iterate on strategies based on data.
Collaborate with engineers to develop product features that enhance social media efforts.
Track the performance of creator partnerships and allocate resources to the most effective ones.
