About The Position

Slickdeals is seeking U.S.-based social media content creators to partner on short-form, deal-focused video content. This role is ideal for creators who are quick, comfortable on camera, and can produce engaging, informative videos under tight deadlines. The content will be used across Slickdeals-owned channels, both paid and organic. Creators should aim to sound like a deal-obsessed friend: clear, helpful, a little opinionated, and straight to the point.

Requirements

U.S. based creator
Comfortable on camera with strong presence and clarity
Casual, natural presence, credible, approachable
Able to quickly interpret direction and create without a full script
Reliable with fast turnaround times
Familiar with TikTok/Reels-style content (natural, not overproduced)
Eligible to work in the United States
Subject to background check

Nice To Haves

Experience creating UGC for brands
Ability to vary tone (urgent deal, informative, enthusiastic, etc.)
Basic understanding of what makes a “good deal” compelling
Understanding of what makes compelling content for different social media platforms

Responsibilities

Create 40-80 second videos highlighting specific deals or deal-related content (e.g., shopping events, multiple deals at a retailer, deal categories).
Shoot videos either on camera (talking head) or with a simple background (green screen or deal imagery).
Perform basic editing, excluding graphics, lower thirds, captions, or chyrons.
Interpret direction and create content without a full script.
Deliver videos within varying turnaround times, sometimes as short as 6 hours from assignment to delivery.
