About The Position

Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands including Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we have established multiple sales channels including our DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. We are passionate about creating inspiring shopping experiences that bring our customers' interior design dreams to life through stylish, high-quality furniture. We are seeking a creative, self-motivated Social Media Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. This role will help drive brand awareness, engagement, and community growth across our social channels while creating compelling content that supports our overall marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience managing TikTok and YouTube channels.
  • Experience creating and editing video content for social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and publish content across TikTok and YouTube channels for multiple brands, including both short-form and long-form video content.
  • Balance trend-driven content creation with brand-focused storytelling to maximize engagement and audience growth.
  • Develop video concepts and content ideas in advance of productions and assist with social media shot lists during photoshoots and video shoots.
  • Capture hands-on photography and videography to support social media initiatives.
  • Monitor channel performance and report on platform-specific KPIs to leadership.
  • Manage and respond to social media comments, messages, and mentions as a brand representative and product knowledge expert.
  • Foster and grow online communities by engaging with followers in an authentic and brand-appropriate voice.
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers, Graphic Designers, and the broader Marketing team to ensure alignment across social media, website content, and advertising campaigns.
  • Stay current on social media, content, SEO, and platform trends to identify new opportunities and improve performance.
  • Assist with content creation, photoshoots, influencer initiatives, and other social media projects as needed.
  • Participate in occasional evening and weekend posting activities with the support of scheduling tools.
