Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator

SansLos Angeles, CA
$75,000 - $85,000Hybrid

About The Position

Sans is building the next great consumer hardware brand focused on products that help people live healthier lives at home, starting with air and water purifiers. ium is a growing consumer brand focused on helping people build better daily rituals through thoughtful products, education, and lifestyle-driven storytelling. Both brands are driven by a small, ambitious team that moves fast and consistently outperforms larger competitors. Brand is crucial for trust, differentiation, and long-term demand across all customer touchpoints. The Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator will be responsible for bringing the social content strategy for both ium and Sans to life across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This role involves producing static and short-form video content, supporting daily social execution, and maintaining a consistent content engine for two distinct brand profiles. The position reports to the Associate Director of Brand Amplification and collaborates with the Creative Director to execute content calendars, campaign priorities, and brand vision. This is a hands-on creative production and coordination role requiring someone who can consistently produce high-quality content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, and AI-assisted creative tools. The ideal candidate is a natural creator with a strong visual sense, an understanding of short-form platform performance, and enthusiasm for supporting growing consumer brands. They should be detail-oriented, highly organized, self-directed, and eager to build a content engine from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Comfortable in front of the camera, with the ability to film yourself, capture content independently, and create social-first video assets.
  • Demonstrated experience with Canva (required): comfortable building posts, carousels, and templates from scratch or from a brand kit.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content using CapCut, InShot, or similar mobile/desktop editing tools.
  • Portfolio or examples of social content created (personal brand, client work, or freelance).
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts as a creator, not just a consumer.
  • Experience adapting content across multiple platforms and formats while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Strong visual eye and attention to detail: care about alignment, type hierarchy, and making things look clean.
  • Self-directed and reliable: ability to take a content brief or idea and turn it into a finished asset without heavy supervision.
  • Communicative and organized: comfortable working in a fast-moving, small-team environment where priorities can shift.
  • Creative and curious: actively consume and study content on social platforms and have opinions about what works and why.
  • Excitement for startups and building something from the ground up.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or willingness to learn AI-assisted creative tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, HeyGen) is a plus.
  • Interest in wellness, home products, DTC brands, or health-related content is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create static posts, carousels, and story cards in Canva, adhering to brand templates and visual guidelines for both Sans and ium.
  • Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) using CapCut and similar editing tools.
  • Produce a high volume of weekly content across both brands, managing the process from brief to final asset delivery.
  • Adapt and repurpose content across various formats and platforms (e.g., converting static posts to Reels, reformatting Reels for TikTok).
  • Film social-first content, including product shots, lifestyle clips, b-roll, behind-the-scenes moments, and trend-based videos. May occasionally appear on camera for demos or talking-head clips.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Amplification team on weekly content planning, creative direction, and performance review.
  • Source and organize visual assets, b-roll, product footage, and user-generated content (UGC) for content creation.
  • Stay current on social trends, audio, and formats, proactively suggesting new ideas to the team.
  • Support content shoots by preparing shot lists, gathering props and products, capturing behind-the-scenes content, and organizing final assets.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand look and voice across all platforms and content types.
  • Pull basic performance data to identify successful content and contribute to weekly reporting.
