Social Media & Content Creator
About The Position
C&M Auto Repair is seeking a creative, reliable person to help showcase the shop online by creating and managing social media content. The role involves capturing photos and short videos around the shop, editing and posting content across social media accounts, writing captions, maintaining active and consistent pages, responding to comments and messages or flagging them for the team, and developing ideas to engage audiences. The position is part-time, approximately [X] hours per week, with a flexible schedule. Pay is $25.00 per hour or a per-project rate. The role is based in Morgan Hill, California, with an opportunity to grow into a larger role as the shop’s online presence grows.
Requirements
- Experience creating social media content; personal accounts count, and applicants should provide examples of their work.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, InShot, Premiere, or similar tools.
- Comfort working in a busy shop environment and following safety rules.
- Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Shoot photos and short videos around the shop, including repairs in progress, before-and-after work, technicians at work, and customers with permission.
- Edit and post content regularly across the company’s social media accounts.
- Write captions and keep social media pages active and consistent.
- Reply to comments and messages, or flag them for the team.
- Develop ideas that get people talking about C&M.
