About The Position

Social Element is seeking native-level Korean Social Media Community Managers to excite and engage with client communities. The mission is to cultivate strong, genuine connections with brand audiences, creating a true sense of community and sparking engagement through meaningful interactions. This involves actively monitoring social media channels to ensure all content reflects positively and authentically on the brand. The role thrives in a fast-paced environment, expertly navigating high volumes of content while seamlessly integrating into the community, with a dedication to building a secure, positive, and inclusive community where everyone can experience and share brand love.

Requirements

  • Excellent Korean language knowledge with superb writing skills.
  • Advanced English language skills for training and communication.
  • Background experience in engagement, social customer care, and/or community management, either with a brand or digital agency.
  • Experience in using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube and understanding their audiences, in addition to staying on top of the latest trends.
  • Confidence with digital technology, including tools like Sprinklr, Social Sprout, and internal tech tools.
  • Self-motivated social media expert who thrives in a remote environment.
  • Structured approach to work and the ability to maintain productivity and efficiency while working from home.
  • PC meeting specific IT requirements: Windows 11 / MAC OS X version 14 (Sonoma) or higher with Admin credentials, at least 8GB RAM (16GB recommended), a secure home-based broadband Internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload), 40 GB available HDD (SSD recommended), a Webcam and headset, Android or iOS device for 2FA.
  • A Facebook account may be required for the project.
  • Must have all IT requirements to qualify for the process.

Responsibilities

  • Connect with a brand's audiences for the Korean markets.
  • Address customer inquiries and comments, ensuring each interaction is timely, professional, and resonates with the brand's tone of voice.
  • Engage across multiple platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, keeping conversations vibrant and engaging.
  • Manage and grow an enthusiastic online community.
  • Moderate to ensure a welcoming and judgement-free zone where consumers feel safe and respected.
  • Ensure social feeds remain open and inclusive spaces.
