About The Position

King Ford of Nashville is seeking a motivated Social Media Sales Representative / Business Development Representative who understands how people communicate online, how attention works, and how to turn digital conversations into real sales opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is confident on social media, comfortable creating simple content, and interested in building a career in automotive sales. This is not a boring desk job. You will help promote new and used vehicles, create social media interest, respond to customer inquiries, follow up with leads, and work with the sales team to help bring buyers into the dealership. The company will teach the automotive sales process, and the candidate needs to bring energy, consistency, communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Social media savvy and comfortable using a smartphone as a business tool.
  • Comfortable being on camera, recording short videos, taking photos, and creating posts.
  • Strong communication skills online, over the phone, and in person.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be coached.
  • Self-starter who can stay consistent without needing to be pushed every minute.
  • Interest in sales, marketing, cars, trucks, customer service, or business development.
  • Ability to handle rejection, follow up with prospects, and keep a professional tone.
  • Reliable attendance and a desire to grow with the dealership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience posting content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.
  • Basic photo and video editing skills.
  • Previous experience in retail, restaurant, customer service, call centers, or sales.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Create and post dealership-friendly social media content featuring new and used vehicles, dealership activity, promotions, and customer-focused messages.
  • Use platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels to generate attention and interest.
  • Respond professionally to online messages, comments, and customer inquiries.
  • Help identify potential buyers and move interested customers into the dealership sales process.
  • Follow up with internet leads, phone leads, social media leads, and showroom opportunities.
  • Assist the sales team with customer communication, appointment setting, and basic vehicle information.
  • Learn product knowledge on Ford vehicles, used inventory, financing basics, and dealership sales procedures.
  • Track activity, document customer interactions, and follow dealership process expectations.
  • Represent King Ford of Nashville with a positive attitude, professional appearance, and customer-first mindset.
