Social Media and Digital Content Supervisor

Bridge Marina IncJefferson Township, NJ
$24 - $28Hybrid

About The Position

Bridge Marina runs two of New Jersey's most active marina operations, one on Lake Hopatcong (freshwater) and one in Highlands on Sandy Hook Bay (saltwater). We're a full boating ecosystem: boater education, training, rentals, a boat club, boat sales, service, and storage, year round, all feeding into each other. Most marinas do one or two of these well. We do all of them, and we're growing. We believe in learning as we go, and that shows up in how this role, and our social media, actually works. You'll post good content, then see what the platform tells you: views, likes, comments, shares. You'll bring that feedback back to the team and our Content Creator with ideas for what to make or edit next, post again, and see how it lands. When something clearly resonates, you'll help turn it into a paid ad tied to whatever campaign or funnel we're running. Then you do it again, a little sharper each time. It's a genuinely collaborative process, and content oversight, the calendar, email, and ads all follow that same rhythm across different channels.

Requirements

  • Someone who's "in" to marketing and social media, personally active on social platforms and aware of what's trending in contemporary culture.
  • Can read performance data.
  • Experience running paid social ads.
  • Knows their way around email marketing.
  • A sharp eye for detail.
  • Analytical: can spot a pattern in performance data and translate it into direction for a creative team.
  • Managed a daily publishing operation before, ideally at our kind of scale, not a once-a-day content calendar, and is comfortable building posts out weeks in advance, using IT and AI to support that process.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable shooting your own supplemental content occasionally.
  • Background in boating, outdoor recreation, or hospitality.
  • Basic graphic design skills.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule out 60+ pieces of content per day, using our team's scheduling software, across our five main, active platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Linked In) as well as a focus on Google Business Profiles, X, Pinterest and Threads).
  • Tailor raw assets into platform-specific posts and get them posted.
  • Review ongoing content daily for anything that's overperforming, seek to understand why, and share that understanding with the team so it shapes what gets created and edited next.
  • Run ads behind our best-performing content and analyze how they do.
  • Own the brand's content calendar, make sure what we're posting actually serves our strategy, and adjust when it's not working.
  • Watch social platforms for trends worth jumping on, or worth skipping, and working with the team in advance so production lines up with the calendar.
  • Manage email marketing (1 to 2 times a week depending on season) as another platform: send, learn, fix, repeat loop, often paired with our best-performing social video.
  • Own the email calendar and strategy, work with the team and templates to draft emails, schedule them, and review analytics for what to adjust next time.
  • Own our online boat listings, make sure photos, descriptions, and details are accurate, and keep everything current (1 to 2 times a week depending on season).
  • Occasionally create hands-on content (1 to 2 times per week depending on season), pulling a still for a standalone post, assembling stills or short clips into a finished piece (carousel, single post, short-form video), adding captions and finishing touches, then scheduling and monitoring it.
  • Update the website calendar about once a week, keeping our events calendar accurate and current.
  • Work closely with the marketing team day to day, and connect with the rest of the business as needed to understand what's actually happening on the ground, so the content reflects it.
