About The Position

The Social Media and Campaigns Partner is responsible for supporting and executing Athene’s integrated marketing campaigns, social media programs and community engagement efforts across corporate and retail initiatives. This role manages day-to-day campaign coordination and social execution, while partnering closely with Marketing, HR, Communications, Sales and Compliance to help strengthen Athene’s brand presence, audience engagement and reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or related fields.
  • Experience managing or supporting brand social media channels and content calendars.
  • Familiarity with major social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and brand voice consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
  • Interest in social trends, digital engagement, and emerging platform capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social listening and social media management platforms preferred.
  • Financial services, insurance, or regulated industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across Marketing, HR, Brand, Communications and Sales to support integrated campaign planning, cross-channel coordination, social amplification strategies, and promotional execution aligned with broader business priorities and go-to-market objectives.
  • Support development and execution of integrated and social-first marketing campaigns by coordinating social media activation alongside broader Marketing initiatives, including paid media, content marketing, sponsorships, recruiting efforts, events, product campaigns and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional marketing initiatives through campaign trafficking, promotional coordination, content support, reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of Athene’s social media calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
  • Coordinate publishing schedules, asset trafficking, post setup, tagging and platform optimization.
  • Support social coverage for events, conferences, community initiatives and internal programs through live posting, content coordination and engagement tracking.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards, governance requirements and platform best practices.
  • Support ongoing community management efforts by monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages as appropriate, and escalating inquiries or issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Monitor social and digital channels for public and employee sentiment, engagement trends, brand mentions and emerging conversations that may impact Athene’s reputation on an ongoing basis and support real-time monitoring efforts during high-visibility campaigns, events and potential reputational situations.
  • Support reputation management efforts by identifying and escalating potential risks, sensitive conversations, or crisis-related issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Help maintain Athene’s presence across review and reputation management platforms.
  • Provide campaign planning and executional support for employee and retail sales advocacy initiatives including content distribution, platform administration, user adoption efforts and education on social media best practices and governance.
  • Partner closely with HR, including Talent Acquisition and Internal Communications, to support recruiting-related content employee advocacy initiatives, and employer brand promotion.
  • Support influencer, ambassador, and community engagement efforts as needed.
  • Assist with social reporting, dashboard maintenance, and performance tracking across platforms and campaigns.
  • Compile social listening insights, engagement trends, and campaign results into recurring reports and summaries.
  • Support identification of opportunities to improve engagement, content performance, and community interaction.
  • Stay informed on social media trends, emerging platforms, and evolving best practices to help support ongoing optimization.
