About The Position

New Horizon Academy is seeking a creative, strategic, and mission-driven Social Media and Brand Engagement Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for strengthening our brand presence, deepening community engagement, and building meaningful connections with families through impactful social media and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate is an engaging storyteller who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and bringing the New Horizon Academy mission to life across digital and community channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, brand communications, or digital marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a passion for authentic, engaging content.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with experience developing and implementing digital campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for education and enthusiasm for connecting with families and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, and visibility across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other emerging social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute integrated digital and social media strategies that leverage generative AI and data intelligence to expand brand visibility, engagement, and enrollment growth.
  • Plan, create, and publish regular content highlighting our schools, programs, staff, and culture.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and foster authentic online relationships with families and community partners.
  • Implement AI search optimization tactics to ensure New Horizon Academy and Kinderberry Hill appears prominently in AI-generated search results, conversational assistants, and emerging discovery platforms.
  • Stay at the forefront of AI and digital innovation, monitoring emerging tools, search trends, and marketing technologies to position New Horizon Academy as an early adopter and industry leader in digital brand visibility.
  • Oversee Google Business Profile management to improve rankings, drive higher engagement from local search, and directly support enrollment growth across markets.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain a consistent, on-brand voice and message across all channels.
  • Implement creative campaigns that showcase New Horizon Academy’s values, mission, and leadership in early childhood education.
  • Partner with school directors and teachers to capture authentic stories, photos, and videos that reflect the joy and impact of our classrooms.
  • Support initiatives that enhance family communication, promote enrollment, and strengthen brand reputation.
  • Lead brand-building initiatives in new markets by leveraging social media, digital storytelling, and community engagement to establish early brand recognition and preference.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to create blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and marketing collateral that tell our brand story.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, tone, and visual identity.
  • Contribute ideas and creative input to help elevate marketing campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Support local and regional engagement initiatives that increase visibility and strengthen community connections.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, events, and sponsorships that align with brand goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to amplify community stories and successes, and brand recognition.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Use data insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and identify growth opportunities.
