The Social Enterprise Operations Manager will operate with the autonomy and accountability of a small business owner while leveraging the resources, stability, and purpose of a nonprofit environment. Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience owning or managing a small business, franchise or Business Operations unit.
  • Strong operational leadership in a fast paced, service driven environment
  • Experience creating quotes, pricing, and proposals
  • Hands on experience with scheduling, staffing, and hiring
  • Comfort with financial oversight including budgets and P&L style thinking
  • Ability to lead change and build systems from the ground up
  • A mission driven approach and respect for the needs of adults with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

  • Operational leadership of a for profit service line within a nonprofit structure
  • Develop and refine workflows that ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Create and manage employee schedules to meet service demands
  • Build and maintain vendor, partner, and community relationships
  • Implement process improvements that support scalability and long term sustainability
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for the business unit
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Create quotes, pricing models, and cost analyses
  • Ensure financial alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards
  • Meet with prospective clients to understand needs and present service offerings
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids for contracts and service agreements
  • Represent the program at community and industry events
