Requirements

• Experience owning or operating a small business or franchise
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and improving systems
• Proven change agent who thrives in environments that require innovation and adaptability
• Skilled people manager with experience in hiring, staffing, and team leadership
• Comfortable with financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
• Commitment to inclusive employment and supporting adults with developmental disabilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business operations for a program that functions like a small enterprise within the nonprofit
• Develop and implement operational systems that ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance
• Drive entrepreneurial growth by identifying new service opportunities and improving existing offerings
• Lead staff management including supervision, coaching, and performance development
• Coordinate employee scheduling to meet program needs and maintain service excellence
• Create accurate service quotes for customers and partners
• Develop and manage program budgets with a focus on sustainability and growth
• Monitor financial performance and adjust operational strategies to meet revenue targets
• Ensure responsible resource allocation aligned with organizational goals
• Prepare competitive bid proposals for service contracts and partnership opportunities
• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate feasibility, pricing, and strategic fit
