This position assists a certificated teacher and/or related service staff in instructional and non-instructional activities for students who have significant behavioral disabilities. This position develops, implements, and monitors intervention for students, develops and implements classroom supports, and models techniques for staff in teaching positive student behavior. This position is for 5.75 hours per day, 180 days (9 months) per year. This position is funded, in full or in part, through grant allocations or student enrollment-based funding sources. Continued employment (or the position’s hourly workload) is contingent upon the availability of future funding, as determined on yearly basis.
