About The Position

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week co-op position, based onsite at SharkNinja's Social Content Studio in Irvine, CA, running from August 2026 to December 2026. As a Social Content Studio Co-op, you will be an integral part of the production engine for Shark Home, Shark Beauty, and Ninja's social content. You will assist with filming, editing, producing, and occasionally act as on-camera talent. You will work closely with the Studio Managers, learning their craft and supporting projects from concept to completion, reporting to the Sr. Director of the Social Content Studio. This role is designed for individuals seeking hands-on experience and real production knowledge within a fast-paced social content environment. Requirements

Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, currently enrolled in a master's program, or has graduated within the past year.
Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule onsite at our Social Content Studio in Irvine, CA.
Hands-on experience or coursework in video filming, editing, or production (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Capcut, or similar).
Comfortable on camera and willing to appear as talent when needed — no formal acting experience required, just presence and good energy.
Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple shoots, projects, and deadlines at once.
Ability to take direction from and collaborate with multiple team members, adapting to different working styles.
Creative eye for social-first storytelling and a pulse on current platform trends and formats.
Comfortable using AI tools to speed up ideation, editing, and content workflows.
Proactive, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced, hands-on production work.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day production across the Social Content Studio, working alongside three Studio Managers on their active projects.
Assist with filming social-first video content, including camera operation, lighting, and audio setup for shoots.
Edit short-form video content in Capcut.
Support photo editing and content design through Canva.
Assist on set and hone skills in filming, lighting, and propping.
Occasionally step in as on-camera talent when a shoot calls for it.
Stay current on social video trends, formats, and editing techniques, and bring fresh ideas back to the studio.
