About The Position

We Are Rosie is casting Social Content Editors for a project within a large consumer goods company. Editors will work directly with one or two household brands to turn employee-generated footage captured at a two-day content event into ready-to-post social videos. The brand teams provide the voice and ideas; editors use their editorial craft and speed to create content that feels native to social platforms. For each assigned brand, edit five vertical 9:16 videos, each 15 to 90 seconds, for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta. Assets should use platform graphics, text, emojis, music, and effects while preserving an authentic employee-made look and feel. No custom design or motion graphics are required. The work includes reviewing raw footage and selecting clips, building a fast-hooking story from footage that may be messy or unscripted, and making quick revisions based on brand feedback. Participate in a short pre-production briefing with the brands before the footage is captured. Final assets are due by end of day Friday, November 20. The rate is $300 per finished asset, plus $75 for the pre-production briefing. The scope is five to ten assets, depending on whether the editor is assigned one or two brands. The anticipated workload is 20 to 40 hours during the week of November 16, plus a one-hour briefing. Pre-production takes place during the week of November 9, and editing runs November 16–20. The position is remote and US-based; Eastern time zone is preferred.
