About The Position

We’re Morgan & Morgan, the country’s largest injury law firm. But on social we’re building something very different. We believe a law firm can sit at the intersection of culture — fashion, music, creators, art, internet humor, live stunts, unexpected partnerships — and still win cases. Our brand already turns heads in the real world. Now we’re building a social content engine that’s just as bold, irreverent, and culturally fluent. This role is not about making safe legal content. It’s about finding the tension between personal injury law and what makes Gen Z tick, and turning that into content people actually want to watch, share, and talk about. You’ll have unlimited creative freedom to explore: • Scrappy, reactive content made at the speed of the internet • Serialized social series with recurring characters or formats • Elevated partnership-driven moments tied to cultural moments or Morgan & Morgan activations • Real-world stunts translated into social storytelling We’re looking for a creator who sees opportunity where others see “just a law firm.”

Requirements

  • Strong concepting instincts: you don’t just execute, you generate ideas.
  • Deep understanding of social-first storytelling and platform nuance (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Expert-level video editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent beyond template-based tools).
  • Strong shooting skills on professional camera equipment.
  • Experience with lighting, framing, and directing on-camera talent.
  • Sharp comedic instincts: irreverent, self-aware, internet-fluent humor.
  • Ability to work at the speed of culture: nimble, resourceful, and decisive.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality.
  • Strong taste. Strong timing. Strong POV.
  • 5–7 years of social media content creation experience (in-house or agency).
  • Proven track record producing social-first content that drives engagement and conversation.
  • Experience owning the full production process: pre-production, capture, edit, post-production, and asset delivery.
  • Comfortable working on-site in NYC and shooting in-office and throughout the city.

Nice To Haves

  • Graphic design capabilities for social assets (from quick-turn memes to polished visuals) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-impact, social-first creative assets across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, including short-form video, long-form video, still photography, and graphics.
  • Concept, shoot, edit, and produce content end-to-end, from scrappy meme-style pieces to more elevated series and partnership-driven moments.
  • Partner closely with the Social Lead to develop smart, unexpected creative that aligns with brand voice and cultural trends.
  • Capture and produce real-time content during live events, activations, and time-sensitive moments.
  • Conceptualize and develop recurring social series and formats that can scale.
  • Provide on-set direction, guiding talent, lawyers, creators, or partners to get strong, authentic performances.
  • Translate Morgan & Morgan’s bold offline presence into culturally relevant social storytelling.
  • Travel up to 10% for activations and major moments.
