Position Overview: The Social Commerce Associate plays a critical support role in the day-to-day execution of affiliate marketing and TikTok Shop programs. Working closely with the Client Services team, the Social Commerce Associate helps facilitate creator communications, affiliate community management, campaign administration, and operational processes that support program growth. This individual is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly. They’re responsible for maintaining operational excellence across multiple brands while supporting creator relationships and ensuring seamless program execution.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, social media marketing, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience with TikTok Shop, affiliate marketing, creator partnerships, or social commerce strongly preferred.
  • Strong written communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing online communities (Discord experience preferred).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support team initiatives wherever needed.
  • Passion for social media, creators, influencer marketing, and emerging commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively build strong relationships with internal teams, creators, and affiliate partners.
  • Support the execution and growth of TikTok Shop affiliate programs across multiple brands.
  • Own day-to-day management of affiliate communities, including Discord moderation, daily engagement, creator support, and community content posting.
  • Assist with creator relationship management by responding to creator inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely communication across affiliate programs.
  • Support affiliate recruitment efforts through creator outreach, relationship building, and creator onboarding.
  • Create and manage contracts for flat-fee creator activations and support campaign administration processes.
  • Assist with sample request approvals and creator product fulfillment, including overflow support during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain accurate creator records, campaign trackers, and operational documentation.
  • Monitor creator communications and escalate opportunities, concerns, or risks to Account Managers as needed.
  • Support ongoing affiliate performance tracking, reporting, and program optimization efforts.
  • Assist with community management initiatives, creator engagement campaigns, and promotional activations.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, social commerce, and TikTok Shop best practices.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Provide cross-functional support across brands and teams as business needs evolve.
  • Be a champion of process and operational excellence, continually identifying opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.
