About The Position

The Social Catering Sales Manager generates, sells, and details social catering business, including weddings, social celebrations, and other special events. The role manages the full client experience, from initial inquiry and sales through event planning, detailing, and execution, ensuring groups’ needs and expectations are met. The manager works with clients and internal teams to coordinate catering services, food and beverage, banquet facilities, and other event details while maximizing revenue and profitability. The position calls for a proactive sales professional who builds strong client relationships and provides exceptional guest satisfaction through seamless event execution.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in catering sales, event sales, hospitality, or a related field; hotel experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business, build client relationships, conduct sales outreach, and achieve revenue goals.
• Experience selling, planning, and detailing social events, including weddings, celebrations, and other special occasions.
• Strong knowledge of catering operations, banquet event orders (BEOs), food and beverage offerings, event setup, and service standards.
• Ability to manage the full event lifecycle, from initial inquiry and contract negotiation through event detailing and execution.
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and client needs simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with culinary, banquet, sales, and other hotel departments.
• Flexible availability for client appointments, site tours, and occasional evening or weekend events as business needs require.
