About The Position

The Social Account Director is responsible for leading the orchestration of social initiatives across strategy, content, influencer programming, and nimble production, with a strong focus on identifying opportunity and driving alignment across Accenture Song. This role acts as the connective tissue between clients, internal cross-functional teams, and production partners—ensuring social-first ideas are not only executed with clarity and speed, but identified early, positioned effectively, and scaled across the organization. You will help spot where social can play a bigger role within existing client engagements, connect the right internal teams, and translate that momentum into clear strategies and action. This position is ideal for someone who understands the business opportunity of social as well as how social operates inside large, complex organizations and is energized by shaping POVs, building internal relationships, and advancing social as a growth driver.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in social-first marketing, brand social management, or integrated agency roles with an emphasis in account management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary lead for social workstreams, guiding priorities, managing expectations, and ensuring clarity across stakeholders
  • Translate client business goals into actionable social strategies, content plans, and measurable KPIs
  • Proactively identify opportunities where social can add incremental value within broader client engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Song, Marketing, Commerce, Data, and Experience teams to surface, shape, and advance social opportunities
  • Act as a connector—bringing the right teams together at the right time to move ideas from concept to execution
  • Act as a strategic partner ensuring social programs are grounded in audience insight, cultural intelligence, and platform-native behavior
  • Stay deeply informed on social trends, platform evolution, creator dynamics, and emerging formats to inform recommendations and POVs
  • Contribute to internal and external thought leadership by helping shape social POVs, playbooks, and points of view that elevate Song’s perspective
  • Partner with strategy leads to develop social frameworks, channel roles, and content architectures that ladder to broader brand and business goals
  • Oversee development and execution of social-first assets, ensuring work is platform-native, culturally relevant, and operationally feasible
  • Partner with creative and production teams to scope and deliver social content, creator-led work, and reactive moments
  • Ensure creator and content outputs align with brand objectives, creative standards, and platform norms
  • Steward internal processes, ensuring strong communication, clear documentation, and consistent workflows across teams and markets
  • Help improve ways of working between strategy, creative, influencer, production, analytics, and media teams
  • Support the evolution of Song’s social capability by sharing learnings, refining processes, and elevating standards across engagements
