About The Position

Concentric is seeking a skilled security professional to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) as a SOC Operator. This role is embedded with their client in Seattle, WA, requiring full-time on-site work. The SOC Operator will be responsible for assisting personnel with safety and security concerns globally, operating at tactical and operational levels to manage confidential operations. They will utilize an integrated security platform (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) to analyze and communicate potential threats to people, property, and brand assets. This position demands analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure within a 24/7 environment, under the guidance of the SOC Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience in the Military, Law Enforcement, Government, and/or Corporate Security.
• Strong Customer Service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English.
• Strong team player.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
• Able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative metrics.
• Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must pass the Basic Operator Course Exam.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a Security Operations Center, TOC, or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related.
• Experience with security systems, including alarm monitoring, electronic access control, and CCTV.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, at times stressed work environment.
• Lenel access level management skills.
• Comfortable with a high-tech work environment and constant learning of new tools and innovations.
• Data entry or coding skills.
• Root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Review CCTV footage, investigate alarms, and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as needed.
• Assist employees in all concerns that pertain to client safety and security.
• Monitor travel safety and security of the client’s employees.
• Notify and coordinate corporate response by distribution of advisories and other communications.
• Intake, triage, and respond to active security incidents.
• Notify senior managers and partner teams of relevant security incidents, often seeking guidance that informs subsequent step actions in support of the security response.
• Author, review, and publish security incident case products.
• Engage with response stakeholders to dispatch local security resources, collect and share information, and document incident details.
• Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success.
• Provide back-up, support, and on-call function as needed.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
• Gather and prepare reports on individual and team performance metrics.
• Conduct ongoing review of multiple systems and sources to detect potential risks and proactively audit access control system connections to identify potential misconfigurations.
• Cultivate an intimate understanding of space functions, owners, and occupying organizations that will allow the applicant to apply the principle of least privilege (PoLP) to individual permissions.
