About The Position
The position monitors all security, communications and fire/life safety systems and is the liaison between all security departments. The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator is directly responsible for the accurate documentation of routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities and maintains control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. This position is responsible for competing task work orders for all maintenance needs reported. The SOC Operator position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording, alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems, and emergency dispatch, incident reporting and analysis, and remote alarm panel programming.
Requirements
- 2 or more years' experience in security, law enforcement, or the military
- NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a SOC operator for a high-volume command center
- Previous experience with access control
- Previous experience with CCTV
Responsibilities
