About The Position

As a CyOps SOC Analyst, you will investigate security alerts generated by the Cynet platform, detect threats, and support live incident response engagements. You will analyze suspicious programs and software, classify malware based on observed behaviors and known threats, and contribute threat intelligence and malware analysis reports.

The role involves identifying threats affecting global customers through advanced threat hunting services that complement standard Security Operations Center services. You will perform analysis and forensics on security threats, malware, and attacks in the wild using industry-standard platforms and tools.

This role is central to Cynet's security operations and customer protection. You will work hands-on with real security events, deepen your expertise across threat detection and response, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Cynet's platform and services.

Requirements

• Previous experience performing incident response in a Security Operations Center or an equivalent cybersecurity organization.
• Hands-on experience with host and network digital forensics.
• Strong knowledge of incident response, digital forensics, and cyber threat hunting.
• Expertise in identifying the tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors.
• Familiarity with malware analysis.
• Ability to coordinate assignments within a team and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language.
• At least 1 year of technical experience within the network, IT, or cybersecurity domains.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols, such as HTTP and DNS.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to understand and learn complex technological systems and identify critical areas.
• Exceptional analytical skills, creative out-of-the-box thinking, and a research-oriented analytical mindset.
• Strong presentation and training skills.
• Experience operating security tools such as firewalls, IDS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.

Nice To Haves

• Experience monitoring EDR, XDR, or SIEM solutions.
• Experience working as an analyst in a Cyber SOC.
• Experience exposing and exploiting vulnerabilities.
