About The Position

As a CyOps SOC Analyst, you will investigate security alerts generated by the Cynet platform, detect threats, and support live incident response engagements. You will analyze suspicious programs and software, classify malware based on observed behaviors and known threats, and contribute threat intelligence and malware analysis reports. The role also involves advanced threat hunting for global customers, performing forensic analysis of threats and attacks, and helping improve Cynet’s platform and services.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of technical experience in network, IT, or cybersecurity domains.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and protocols such as HTTP and DNS.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to understand and learn complex technological systems and identify critical areas.
• Exceptional analytical skills, creative out-of-the-box thinking, an analytical mindset, and research orientation.
• Strong presentation and training skills.
• Experience operating security tools such as firewalls, IDS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working as an analyst in a Cyber SOC.
• Experience exposing and exploiting vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts generated by the Cynet platform to detect threats and support live incident response engagements.
• Analyze suspicious programs and software using relevant tools to identify threats and classify malware.
• Produce malware analysis reports.
• Identify threats affecting global customers through advanced threat hunting services that complement standard Security Operations Center services.
• Perform analysis and forensics on security threats, malware, and attacks in the wild using industry-standard platforms and tools.
