About The Position

The Sober Living House Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for clients across Revive Life Houses’ Phase 3 locations and Sober Living facilities operated by Revive Ministries, Inc. This role is responsible for the daily management of these programs, including supervision of residents, implementation of emergency procedures, documentation, policy enforcement, and program compliance. The Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment by ensuring consistent oversight, accountability, and pastoral care.

Requirements

  • Minimum HS Diploma or GED.
  • Background in or be familiar and willing to work with men struggling with substance use issues.
  • State driver’s license required.
  • Responsible for directing and monitoring client activities to ensure engagement in treatment, programming, and other recovery-related responsibilities.
  • Requires a calm and steady temperament, strong critical thinking abilities, and sound judgment—particularly in high-pressure or emergency situations.
  • Ability to lead with empathy, uphold structure, and consistently enforce program expectations while maintaining a supportive and recovery-focused environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred one year full-time of direct experience (volunteer or paid) in a peer recovery support or similar environment.
  • Peer support license preferred (RADPSS) with APSS at minimum

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to clients and Sober Living residents, fostering a supportive and accountable community environment.
  • Conduct daily on-site check-ins at all Phase 3 and Sober Living locations, including evening coverage as needed.
  • Lead biweekly community meetings to promote engagement and cohesion.
  • Collaborate with the Targeted Case Manager (TCM) to support client job readiness and vocational development.
  • Coordinate with second-chance employers, community partners, and recovery support networks to facilitate client reintegration.
  • Facilitate and participate in individual Service Team Meetings using a multidisciplinary approach focused on accountability, discipline, and positive reinforcement.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding announcements, expectations, and program updates.
  • Develop and maintain weekly schedules aligned with clients’ work and treatment plans.
  • Track and monitor service attendance and program compliance.
  • Create weekly urinalysis (UDS) lists and oversee the drug screening process, including conducting or supervising drug tests, room checks, and body searches as necessary.
  • Enforce all organizational and disciplinary policies consistently and fairly.
  • Manage documentation and records accurately, using both digital systems and hard copies as needed.
  • Collect client payments (e.g., rent, food, ID fees) in coordination with the Finance Department and according to program timelines.
  • Maintain and process all Phase 3 and Sober Living visitation requests and related paperwork.
  • Submit required reports timely to the Long-Term Program Administrator.
  • Work collaboratively with the Long-Term Program Administrator and other departments to improve operational processes and procedures.
  • Stay current with Revive policies, rules, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all required trainings and certifications are completed and maintained in accordance with organizational and licensing requirements.
  • Perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Long-Term Program Administrator.
