Peer Recovery Coach for Female Sober Living Clients -Contractor
About The Position
The Peer Recovery Coach will promote the mission, vision, and services of Restored Life Continuum of Care to the community, clients, and staff. The Peer Recovery Coach will mentor and facilitate recovery goals and methods for clients to maintain sobriety. This is a contractor position, paid via billing invoice, and the individual will receive a 1099 at the end of the calendar year. Restored Life Continuum of Care is a compassionate family of care based out of Kokomo, Indiana since 2020, offering integrated services for individuals in recovery at every stage of the addiction recovery cycle. The company is growing and expanding throughout Central Indiana, focusing on top-tier therapeutic treatment, residential recovery, and sober living services. Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in a public and personal environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical and psychiatric terminology.
- Experience with Google Workspace products and client EMR software.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively and in a manner that de-escalates tense situations.
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D required.
- Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC-1 or CAPRC-II) required.
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Articulating personal goals for recovery.
- Identifying barriers to recovery goals.
- Determining reasonable and holistic steps moving toward sobriety.
- Complete peer coaching and group facilitating notes in compliance with company standards.
- All other duties assigned.
