About The Position

Sana Lake is expanding rapidly and is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach who is passionate about helping individuals and families recover! As a Peer Recovery Coach, you will emphasize the acquisition, development, and expansion of the rehabilitation skills needed to move forward in substance use or co-occurring recovery. Interventions are built on the unique relationship between the Peer Recovery Coach, the individual served, and his or her family unit.

Requirements

High school diploma (or GED)
Self-identify as a present or former primary client of substance use services
Certified as a Peer Support through the Missouri Credentialing Board
Valid State of Missouri Class E Driver’s License
Receipt of appropriate background checks, including criminal history and abuse/neglect
Verification of education and licensure, when applicable
Satisfactory employment and/or reference checks

Responsibilities

Emphasize the acquisition, development, and expansion of the rehabilitation skills needed to move forward in substance use or co-occurring recovery.
Build interventions on the unique relationship between the Peer Recovery Coach, the individual served, and his or her family unit.
