Snowsports Pro - Ski Instructor

About The Position
The Snowsports Pro provides a positive, fun, and safe environment for skiers and snowboarders to build their skills. Snowsports Pros are responsible for the customer experience during lessons and serve as ambassadors for Mohawk Mountain whenever they are in uniform. The role reports to the Snowsports Supervisor and Snowsports Director.
Requirements
- Able to effectively communicate with customers.
- Able to ski and/or snowboard at an intermediate level or above.
- Able to work for extended periods outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to stand and work for extended periods.
- Must work weekends and holidays.
- Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must own appropriate ski and/or snowboard gear.
Responsibilities
- Instruct customers in skiing and/or snowboarding skills.
- Teach skier etiquette and safe on-hill behavior.
- Welcome and assist mountain guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Assist with setting up and taking down learning center zones.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Snowsports.
