About The Position
Join our dynamic team as a Junior Snowflake Administrator providing essential production support for a growing enterprise Snowflake environment. This is a hands-on operational role where you will manage user access, ensure security, optimize warehouse performance, and support mission-critical data operations. Requirements
- 1-3 years hands-on Snowflake administration or production support experience
- User administration: creating, modifying, and disabling users
- Strong understanding of RBAC, role management, and permission grants
- Experience with SCIM-based provisioning and identity management
- Familiarity with SSO and MFA administration
- Proficient in SQL for troubleshooting and investigation
- Experience with Snowsight and worksheet administration
- Knowledge of ACCOUNT_USAGE and INFORMATION_SCHEMA views
- Warehouse performance monitoring and credit consumption tracking
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to follow operational protocols and escalate issues as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience with enterprise identity providers (Azure AD, Okta)
- Advanced SCIM integrations and automated user lifecycle management
- Familiarity with network, masking, and row-access policies
- Exposure to Snowpipe, Tasks, Streams, and Snowflake data sharing
- Experience supporting enterprise data warehouses or cloud databases
- Progress toward or completion of SnowPro Core Certification
Responsibilities
- Administer Snowflake users, roles, and access following RBAC best practices
- Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews including SCIM processes
- Support SSO, MFA, and identity integration for secure platform access
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake warehouses for performance and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot failed queries, performance issues, and platform incidents
- Maintain databases, schemas, tables, and related Snowflake objects
- Respond promptly to support tickets and production incidents
- Document operational procedures, runbooks, and support best practices
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and security teams to resolve platform issues
