Requirements

8-12 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
Proven expertise in Oracle installation, configuration, and performance tuning
Strong background in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
Solid understanding of database security and user management
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL scripts
Ability to proactively monitor and resolve database issues

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
Exposure to cloud database environments
Knowledge of automation tools for database management

Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and optimize Oracle databases for maximum reliability and performance
Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and backups
Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and efficiency
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on database design and application integration
Document processes and provide technical guidance to team members
