About The Position

North Atlantic Snow is hiring seasonal Snow Shovelers to keep commercial properties safe and accessible during winter storms. Positions are assigned according to where employees live and operational needs across Seacoast New Hampshire, Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and Northeastern Massachusetts. Pay is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Available assignments include riding in a plow truck to clear sidewalks along a route; working on a 2–5-person sidewalk crew using shovels and snowblowers; working at one or two properties during a storm; or operating sidewalk machinery such as ATVs, RTVs, Ventrac 3400s, Ventrac SSVs, and SnowRators. Equipment operation may depend on experience, performance, and training.

This seasonal, storm-response work requires clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and walkways, following a storm plan, and recording completed work using mobile apps. Employees must be prepared for early mornings, late nights, emergency events, extended hours, and outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and strong work ethic.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended hours during storms.
• Comfortable using mobile apps to log completed work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with shoveling, snowblowing, or small equipment is preferred but not required.
• Experience and performance may be considered when assigning sidewalk equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and walkways using shovels, snowblowers, ATVs, and other specialized snow equipment.
• Follow the storm plan prepared by the management team and report to assigned locations.
• Use apps to record completed work and ensure accurate reporting.
• Work as part of a truck or sidewalk crew when assigned.
• Be available for storm response, including early mornings, late nights, and emergency events.
