About The Position

North Atlantic Snow is hiring seasonal Snow Shovelers to help keep commercial properties safe and accessible during winter storms. Work locations are across Seacoast New Hampshire, Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and Northeastern Massachusetts; assignments depend on where employees live and operational needs. Pay is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Available positions include riding in a plow truck to clear sidewalks along its route, working on a 2–5-person sidewalk crew, being stationed at one or two properties during a storm, or operating sidewalk machinery. Work combines hand shoveling and snowblower use, with opportunities to operate equipment depending on experience, performance, and training. Employees follow storm plans, use mobile apps to log completed work, and must be prepared to work during storms, including early mornings, late nights, and emergency events.

During winter storms, the company reports having more than 200 employees and 100 or more trucks and loaders serving over 300 commercial accounts in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.

Requirements

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and strong work ethic.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended hours during storms.
• Comfortable using mobile apps to log completed work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with shoveling, snowblowing, or small equipment is preferred but not required.
• Experience, performance, and training may qualify employees to operate sidewalk equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and walkways using shovels, snowblowers, ATVs, and other specialized snow equipment.
• Follow the storm plan created by the management team and report to assigned locations.
• Use mobile apps to record completed work and ensure accurate reporting.
• Work during winter storms, including early mornings, late nights, and emergency events.
• Depending on the assigned position, ride in a plow truck or crew truck, work at designated properties, or operate sidewalk machinery.
