About The Position

This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position for the 26-27 season. Junior Instructors will teach ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities and act as a mountain ambassador. They will work as part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching a ski or snowboard lesson, and will cooperate with all Snowbowl departments, assisting as needed. Applicants under the age of 16 will be hired as Junior Instructors. The hourly wage for this position is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

Proficient ski and/or snowboard skills
Able to work in team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be flexible – willing to adapt and improvise for effective teaching of skills.
Must have ability to connect with people and understand group dynamics.
Knowledge of the safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests.
14 years of age or older
