About The Position

The Snow School Instructor teaches ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities, acting as a mountain ambassador. This role is part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching ski or snowboard lessons. The instructor will also work cooperatively with all Snowbowl departments and be prepared to assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient ski and/or snowboard skills
• Able to work in team environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible – willing to adapt and improvise for effective teaching of skills.
• Must have ability to connect with people and understand group dynamics.
• Knowledge of the safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests.
• 14 years of age or older
