About The Position

Requirements

High School diploma and one year of related experience.
Minimum Level 1 CSIA (Ski Instructor Certification) or CASI (Snowboard Instructor Certification) or equivalent.
Prior to hire, recognized current Intermediate Standard First Aid and CPR Level “C”/AED Certificates are needed, and must be maintained as current for the entire period of hire by the employee.
Clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector.

Nice To Haves

One year of related experience in teaching, coaching or working with youth.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of park facilities/services, especially Hidden Valley Ski Resort.

Responsibilities

Providing safe, fun, and engaging ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities, including school groups, multi-week programs, group lessons, and private lessons.
Delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences that reflect Hidden Valley’s standards of service.
Assisting with snow and ice removal from walkways using appropriate tools and equipment.
Supporting the setup and cleanup of ski hill facilities.
Assisting in other departments as required to support overall operations.
