This position is part-time seasonal help which can lead to full-time employment in the spring. We are hiring for the following positions: Plow Truck Operator, Skid Loader Operator, Front-end Loader Operator, Specialty Sidewalk Equipment Operator.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to work in various temperature and weather extremes.
- Able and willing to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Snow removal experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMVR.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of snow removal experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate various snow removal equipment including but not limited to snow blowers, snow shovels, and snowplows in a safe and responsible manner in all types of weather and conditions.
- Remove snow and ice from designated areas in a safe and efficient manner as well as preventing hazardous conditions by dispersing salt and/or other products to prevent slips or falls in these designated areas.
- Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
- Work long hours in extreme conditions.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
