River City Lawnscape, Inc., established in 1983, is an award-winning landscape design/build and full-service landscape management company in La Crosse, WI and Rochester, MN. The range of services we offer includes landscaping, irrigation, mowing, lawn fertilization, landscape maintenance, outdoor and holiday lighting, snow removal and retail sales. Our passion is to provide opportunities while leading the way. The Snow Removal Technician is responsible for being an integral part of our Snow Removal Team. Some of the varied tasks include shoveling, snow blowing and salting. This position is part time. During the snow season, on-call hours will vary. Working conditions vary by the job site. Crews of 2-3 people work together. This position is eligible to become full time in the green season.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience preferred but not required
Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy
Safely operate small equipment

Responsibilities

Follow all instructions given by the manager or crew foreman
Prepare vehicles and equipment for the day’s work
Operate equipment properly and safely
Perform general equipment maintenance
Work effectively with little supervision
Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company productions rates
Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
Demonstrate customer service and professionalism
