About The Position

River Valley Lawnscape is hiring an experienced Snow Plow Operator for seasonal, on-call snow removal work in Red Wing, Minnesota. The position pays $30 per hour for actual hours worked, with shifts typically lasting 4–10 hours. Work is scheduled around snowfall and weather conditions and takes place during and after snow events. Availability is required for nights, weekends, and holidays as weather demands.

The operator uses a plow truck and related snow removal equipment to clear assigned parking lots, driveways, and roadways; keep properties accessible and safe for vehicles and pedestrians; and apply salt and de-icing materials as needed. The operator also performs pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and communicates route completion, weather conditions, and equipment concerns to a supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Availability for flexible, on-call shifts during winter weather, including nights, weekends, and holidays as weather demands.
• Dependability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

• Previous snowplow operating experience preferred.
