About The Position

Are you someone who finds joy in creating delicious moments and believes that kindness belongs in every kitchen? We’re looking for a Snack/Cold Cook who brings not only culinary skill but also warmth, positivity, and a genuine love for serving others. In this role, you’ll prepare fresh, flavorful snacks and cold dishes with precision and pride—always keeping food safety and HACCP standards top of mind. You will operate largely independently, managing daily snack production for approximately 30–40 patients using a detailed daily spreadsheet. You will be responsible for precise portioning, accuracy, food safety, and presentation across a wide range of cold snacks—from simple cracker and cheese plates to multi‑component milkshakes—while maintaining excellent customer service with clinical support staff. You’ll follow recipes with care, manage your time thoughtfully, and contribute to a kitchen culture built on respect, collaboration, and compassion. The right candidate will also be willing to help with dishwashing and cleaning in addition to regular prep work and baking.
