About The Position
Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring a full-time Smoking Attendant. This position offers $18/hour with weekly pay and operates from 9 AM to 5 PM during the week. The Smoking Attendant is responsible for providing residents with a clean and orderly smoking environment and assisting them with smoking-related tasks.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be able to communicate effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with smoking, lighting materials, and/or help with transportation to and from the designated smoking area.
- Maintain a clean designated smoking area for residents.
- Transportation of the residents to and from the designated smoking area.
- Ensuring residents maintain a safe smoking environment.
