About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Data Foundation Account Executive to architect the data infrastructure necessary for autonomous AI agents. This role involves selling Salesforce's integrated solution combining MuleSoft (API-led connectivity and integration) and Informatica (enterprise data management, quality, and governance), unified with Salesforce Data Cloud. The goal is to eliminate fragmented systems and data silos that hinder enterprise AI. The Data Foundation AE will own both MuleSoft and Informatica within their portfolio, empowering CIOs to deploy AI agents across the enterprise by integrating MuleSoft's connectivity, Informatica's data management depth, and Salesforce Data Cloud's scale. This position is central to the 'Agentic Revolution,' enabling organizations to transform static data into actionable intelligence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle sales experience, ideally with some exposure to SaaS or technology solutions.
  • Experience working with small business owners or key decision-makers, with the ability to build trust quickly and guide customers through a consultative buying process.
  • Familiarity with software, cloud, or platform solutions; comfortable having conversations about technology and learning fast.
  • Ability to connect a customer's day-to-day challenges to tangible business outcomes like saving time, reducing costs, or growing revenue.
  • Comfortable working across teams, knowing when to involve specialists and how to keep a deal moving with multiple people involved.
  • Genuine interest in how AI tools are changing the way small businesses operate.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a high volume of accounts, and prioritize effectively without losing the personal touch.
  • Experience considered holistically: work experience, volunteer roles, military service, entrepreneurship, and other leadership experience all count.
  • Close proximity to office hub required; role is 4 days on-site per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Data Foundation Mandate: Carry quota for both MuleSoft and Informatica, driving Annual Contract Value (ACV) across both products and positioning the Data Foundation as essential for AI initiatives.
  • Lead 'Data Foundation' Discovery: Conduct deep-dive sessions with CIOs and Data Architects to identify fragmented systems and data quality issues hindering AI, articulating how a MuleSoft + Informatica foundation is crucial for a secure AI roadmap.
  • Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Act as the 'quarterback' by commercially engaging with MuleSoft and Informatica, partnering with technical specialists to solve complex data gravity problems and ensure the Data Foundation functions as a unified solution.
  • Identify 'AI-Ready' Whitespace: Hunt for high-value use cases, demonstrating how MuleSoft's integration layer and Informatica's data management capabilities automate workflows and prepare the enterprise for an autonomous future.
  • Value-Based Outcomes: Translate technical connectivity and data management capabilities into high-level business ROI, proving that AI and Data investments cannot succeed without a robust Data Foundation built on MuleSoft and Informatica.
