Requirements

Must be knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.
Less than High School Diploma.
Three or more years related construction experience preferred.
Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
Ability to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America to qualify for employment with the Company.
Candidates are required to complete and pass a drug screen to be considered for employment with Webber.
Candidates are required to complete and pass a medical exam to ensure physical and/or mental capacity to complete the tasks required by the job.

Responsibilities

Operates a self-propelled machine which may either lay curb and gutter, median safety barrier or bridge rail.
Install and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levels.
Manipulates hand or foot levers to control movements of the machine.
Raises or lowers screed and regulates width of screed.
Signal truck drivers to position trucks for pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete on forms.
Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed.
May oil, grease, or otherwise service the machine.
Make necessary adjustments to equipment as needed.
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
Perform other duties as assigned.
