Requirements

Minimum one to three years of related mechanical experience.
Must have your own tools.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience working on construction equipment is an asset.
A valid Class G driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points) is preferred.
Good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with small engines and outdoor power equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Provide customers with information on proper equipment use and maintenance.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.
